Capurso Spiral 620 Vintage (33″ Scale)
A superb hand crafted and highly interesting 6 string, 33″ scale bass from Andrea Capurso at Capurso Guitars, Brindisi, Italy.
This bass was shown at the recent 2026 guitar and bass show in Birmingham, so we are offering it a special ‘ex-show’ discounted price, albeit it was only played by a few show goers…you may recognise a couple of these guys in our pictures, thanks to the great Jonny Dibble and Matt Parker.

Our thoughts…
We really love the idea of a J style 6 string bass with a 33″ scale, it’s all down to personal taste but for us this is a really great combination. This one has a one piece alder body as well, you don’t often see that, and the addition of an ebony fingerboard and a bit of added ‘ageing’ makes it all the more special with a great overall feel.
Th Xander two way boost EQ on these Spiral basses really adds some weight to the sound, giving you real options along with the great passive tone. You can also cut the mids at three key frequencies via toggle switches in the back cavity, giving further tone options.
